After being left by his biological mother in an apartment in Staten Island, NY, Schwartzen Precil was placed into the foster care system. After bouncing around to several families, Precil found the gang life. He began to recruit and become a full-time gang member until he ran into trouble with the law. From the outside, it appeared that Precil eventually began to turn his life around, as he earned a basketball scholarship. Internally though, Precil was not at peace. He began using substances to heal his childhood trauma, but that wasn’t enough. It wasn’t until Schwartzen asked Jesus for help that his life truly turnaround around.
